Raymond was graduated from Princeton
Theological Seminary (M. Div. 1975), Rutgers University (M.S.W. 1975), and
University of Wisconsin (B.A. 1967), and was ordained by the New Jersey Association / Central
Atlantic Conference of the United Church of
Christ. Prior to becoming an ordained minister, Raymond worked for the Peace
Corps in Liberia in West Africa and
for a New Jersey state senator for whom he conducted research and drafted
legislation.
Raymond’s most recent ministerial experience was the interim
minister at the First Church of Christ, Marblehead (Old North) for
three years from 2004-2007. Prior to that, Raymond served a variety of
congregations as a settled pastor, being both a solo and a senior pastor
with an associate. In addition to professional experience, Raymond brings a
host of skills to interim ministry including small group work and church
revitalization.
