The First Church in Swampscott,
Congregational

Youth Group

Youth Group

As of September 2009, following a meeting with teens, parents, and interested friends, the Youth Group is being led by Rev. Raymond Patch, with assistance from youth group alum Mike Foye, and members of the congregation.  The junior and senior high youth meet together on most Sundays from 6 to 8 PM, starting out in Clarke Hall.  A typical meeting includes some warm up conversation and snacks, followed by some games, followed by discussion of a topic suggested by the group.  There are also special events and activities to supplement the regular meetings.

friends who might be interested in taking part in a 30 hour fast, which includes an overnight at the church and some fundraising,
all with the goal of raising awareness about the hunger crisis for children around the world.  If there is sufficient interest,
the dates of our "famine" will be determined at this meeting.
